Linda – Office Manager

My name is Linda Ponzio.  I have the privilege of being office manager for Southern Ocean Orthodontics.  My favorite part of my job is meeting with all the new patients and working with them from the beginning to that final happy smile.  I enjoy living by the Jersey Shore and love finding time to go to the beach, sailing, kayaking, or just taking a walk with my two dogs Louie and Bentley.  The staff at Southern Ocean Orthodontics makes my job almost effortless.

Sharon – Receptionist

As the receptionist for the office I will answer all incoming calls and schedule your child’s future appointments.  I coordinate letters sent between Dr. Butler and Dr. Cringoli with our referring dentists.  An exciting part of my job is to exchange a patient’s Bracebucks for a gift card to their favorite store.  It’s so much fun to watch their faces light up!   In my 4 years at the office, I have really met so many warm and friendly people.  I love my job!

Joyce – Registered Dental Assistant

I am a Registered Dental Assistant and have been in the dental field for 25 years.  My duties include assisting the doctors in placing and removing brackets, inserting and removing arch wires, taking impressions and giving instructions for elastics.  I enjoy answering any and all questions our patients may have.  But the best part of my job is doing all these things in a friendly and fun environment where we not only give our patients the best possible care, but we do it with a smile.

Patti – Registered Dental Assistant

I get your child’s teeth ready for the placement of braces.  I help both Dr. Butler and Dr. Cringoli chair side by putting glue on the braces and then setting the glue with a special blue light.  I show patients how to properly brush teeth with braces, and go over what foods they should stay away from. I will also give them helpful tips on what they can do at home in order to get their braces off faster.  I love to laugh and joke with all the patients!  I love the dental field and after working 20yrs I still love my job!  Seeing the end result is the best feeling in the world.

Marie – New Patient Coordinator

I love greeting people at their first visit with us as a potential patient.  My duties as the “new patient coordinator” are to take diagnostic records for the doctors which include  x-rays, digital photographs and impressions.  I have been with South Ocean Orthodontics for 17 years and it is so rewarding to watch the confidence and self-esteem of our patients increase as they achieve their orthodontic goal.  It’s truly something to smile about!

Chelsea – Dental Assistant

Hi my name is Chelsea and I am happy to help new patients with our fingerprint scanner at their first appointment. Don’t worry, you won’t feel a thing!  After your braces come off I will explain how to care for your retainers. I try my best to help out whenever I can.  I enjoy talking to and joking with every patient because each patient deserves a warm atmosphere.
